NEW: How to submit your abstract
About the workshop
Following the success of previous "Erwinia" workshops held in Lyon (2002), Madison (2004) and Dundee (2006), a similar workshop will take place on 5th and 6th of June 2010 at the
Hotel Best Western in Saint Denis, Ile de la Réunion (France) prior to the ICPPB.
At the workshop we would like to include research undertaken on all plant pathogenic members of the Enterobacteriaceae, and would also welcome contributions from other bacterial plant pathologists as well as those working on human enterix pathogens and their survival and distribution on plants.
Ideas for themes to be included in the programme are: Diagnostic & Taxonomy, Functionnal Genomics and Systems Biology, Molecular PLant-Pathogen Interactions, and Ecology & Control (a morning/afternoon session devoted to each theme depending on the number of attendees).
We will include both oral and poster presentations and allocate sufficient time for discussion. There will be also prizes for the best presentation and poster. If you are planning to attend the ICPPB and have an interest in the topics, please consider presenting at this workshop. At the workshop we can catch up with the latest research on the Enterobacteriaceae but, as importantly, we will have the opportunity to meet both professionally and socially prior to the bigger conference.
Further information will be posted on this site in due course. If you are interested in attending and have not so far be contacted by email, please contact
