The meeting will be held in Saint-Denis, the main city of the Ile de La Réunion at "Parc des expositions - Palais des Congrès", Saint Denis. La Réunion located in the Indian Ocean, approximately 700 km (450 miles) east of Madagascar. It is 240 km (150 miles) in circumference, with an excellent road system.
A mountain rising from the ocean, the island is characterized by spectacular peaks, canyons and "cirques". It rises to 3,070 m (10,000 ft) at the Piton des Neiges. In the South of the island the Piton de la Fournaise is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, with lava flowing regularly into the ocean. Different microclimates have allowed an extraordinary variety of natural habitats: 193 different types in total. Primary rainforests cover about 40% of the island's surface. A coral reef extends along the West coast, adorning gracious and peaceful beaches.

La Réunion belongs to one of the 25 world biodiversity hotspots. Most of the island is now a French National Park and is a candidate for the status of UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
Culturally, la Réunion is a patchwork of influences: French (which were the first settlers in 1643), African, Indian, Chinese and Malagasy. Several languages, religions, gastronomies and ways of life coexist and blend beautifully, creating the composite, unusual and open Creole culture.

Climate |
The climate in La Réunion is tropical with two seasons: summer (November to April) is warm and rainy, winter (May to October) is dry and cool. Climatic facts are highly variable on the island due to variation in altitude and the diversity of exposures.
In June the air temperature in Saint-Denis is 20-26°C (68-79°F), while the ocean's temperature rarely drops below 24°C (75°F).
